The car has had four owners, one of which was a Dealer and the car has spent most of its life in the Borders of Scotland and all owners have obviously cherished the car. The last owner has only sold it to fund a business venture and has tracked the car lightly, only on three occasions at Knockhill. There is no evidence at all of any underbody dragging or damage and all panels are verifiable and correct. In short, it is a superb example of an ultra collectable, depreciation proof supercar. You will never lose any money on what is generally thought to be the jewel in the GT3 crown, as long as it is kept in optimum condition. As for mpg, if used to ¾ of the Rev Range, it averages 25mpg and if frugal with the acceleration but still using performance when needed for overtaking, it achieved 31.5mpg on my trip 400 miles home. Wonderful!

We actually purchased this with a client in mind, however it was too quick for her! It is absolutely gorgeous. We have fully serviced it, all new filters, 16 plugs, new front pads, newly refurbished rims, new tyres and tidied up a couple of very minor points. MPG circa 26 on a long run, 22/23average. Hardly any depreciation if you keep it in the condition it has been used to.

COMMENTS:

A lovely, very clean, low mileage Carrera 2 owned by an Hotelier who spent a lot of money having the engine rebuilt at RPM, Knaresborough (55000 miles) in 2009. The car was previously owned by a Doctor in Essex and the car was religiously serviced by Porsche Colchester. All mileages are verifiable. Unfortunately, the Hotelier suffered financial difficulties in the Summer of 2009 and we purchased the re-possession. The car came with no service book, but Porsche Centre Colchester, have sent us a new stamped-up one covering 9 services. They cannot send copy invoices due to the Data Protection Act, but will happily give basic information about the car over the phone.

We have completely serviced the car, including all new discs, pads and front LH condensor. My mechanic is of the opinion that it would be difficult to find a better one for its year. The paintwork  and interior are in extremely good condition. MOT due for renewal Dec 2011.
