Prospective Buyers
If we do not have your ideal car in stock we can find one for you, normally within a couple of weeks (longest ever time 5 months - B12 5.7 Coupe, twice!!)
We will require a £2000 deposit, refundable if we do not succeed in locating a suitable car within a specified time period. However, as yet, we have never, ever failed to find a car!
The black and white reason for the deposit is that our foreign purchase contractor will not drive miles to view and select and then find the person was a timewaster. As this has happened we had a mutual agreement and this eventually has covered the problem 100% since 1997.
Rest assured, our reputation and Testimonials are such that we will find you a car that is not crashed, clocked, (faked service book very common with imported cars), preferably one owner who you can ring up and verify car / mileage / service history.
Also, the car is guaranteed not to be on lease, HP or anything else. For everyday cars we require about 1 week - 1 month to find your individual demands. For unusual cars, such as a Hartge M3, Alpina M3, Almeras RS 964 etc it will obviously take longer.
On receipt, a contract will be drawn up and our buyer will source the required car. On location of the exact vehicle, all details will be relayed to the customer. On agreement, the rest of the monies will be wired to our UK A/C and the car will then be purchased, to be either driven by myself back to the UK, or shipped from The Hook to Harwich. We collect from the docks, arrange MOT, Commission Notice letter, Vehicle Certification Agency type approval, and then UK Registration.
